The Blyth Institute will have its mobile microscopy lab available at the OCHEC homeschool conference in Oklahoma City on May 4-5.  This is a free event for anyone who is at the conference!

New Paper on Foundations of Evolution

Mobile Microscopy Lab at the Tulsa Homeschool Expo

The Blyth Institute ran a student microscopy laboratory at the Tulsa Homeschool Expo, where students got the opportunity to learn how to use the microscope, make slides, and apply stains to improve the ability to visualize the microscopic. Pictures available here.

Blyth Institute Debuts Mobile Microscopy Lab

The Blyth Institute debuted its new Mobile Microscopy Laboratory on June 24-25 at the Tulsa Homeschool Expo in a public lab for students of all ages.  We had a variety of activities including observing pre-made slides, observing pond water, bacterial observation, and gram staining.  Students made photographs of their slide preparations using a microscope camera.
